The Aga Khan University’s Institute for Global Health and Development hosted a conference focusing on climate change and its impact on urban and rural environments in Pakistan. Under the theme “Promoting Resilience & Adaptation in Low-Income Settings,” key experts discussed innovative solutions.

His Highness the Aga Khan highlighted climate change as a significant threat to equity and stability, emphasising the need for collaboration. Chief Guest His Excellency Tariq Khan of Canada and Honourable Minister Ahsan Iqbal stressed the urgency for climate adaptation in Pakistan.

The conference featured presentations on climate-smart architecture and community-led innovations, promoting policies for safer, resilient environments.
