BankIslami has been named the Best Islamic Bank in Pakistan at the Euromoney Islamic Finance Awards 2025, recognizing its leadership in the growing Islamic finance sector. The award underscores the bank’s dedication to ethical, Shariah-compliant banking and its customer-centric approach.

Rizwan Ata, the bank’s CEO, emphasised that the recognition reflects the bank’s dedication to meeting Pakistan’s financial needs and its customer trust. With over 500 branches nationwide, BankIslami has pioneered innovations such as biometric ATMs and Islamic digital banking solutions.

Imran Shaikh, the Deputy CEO, noted that the recognition belongs to their customers, who are central to the bank’s mission. BankIslami plans to further expand its Shariah-compliant products, enhance financial literacy, and leverage technology to reach a broader audience of households in Pakistan.
