Asif Rice Mills, Pakistan’s leading agricultural export company, has been honored with the Gold Medal and Best Export Trophy at the 17th Rice Export Awards Ceremony organized by the Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (REAP). The awards were presented by Chairman Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, who officiated as the Acting President of Pakistan during the event.
Kashif Sheikh, Director of Asif Rice Mills, received the Gold Medal. At the same time, Uzair Sheikh, Director, was awarded the Best Export Trophy in recognition of the company’s exceptional performance in the fiscal year 2024–25.
Asif Rice Mills achieved a significant milestone by becoming Pakistan’s top rice exporter, with exports totaling Rs58 billion. With a presence in over 63 countries, the company continues to deliver high-quality rice, corn, and sesame to global markets, reinforcing its position as a leader in agri-exports.
Speaking at the event, industry leaders praised the role of private sector exporters in boosting Pakistan’s economy. The ceremony was attended by several notable figures, including REAP Chairman Faisal Jahangir, Vice Chairman Javed Jelani, Abdul Rahim Janoo, Rafiq Suleman, former Prime Minister Muhammad Mian Soomro, and Ali Hussam Asghar, as well as other prominent rice exporters.
