Karachi Port Trust, through its terminal operator KICT-Hutchison Ports, is accelerating the transformation of Karachi Port through technology, innovation and stronger connectivity. From Drive-Through NLC Scanning, achieving 25–30 containers per hour, to Electric Reach Stackers enabling cleaner, more efficient yard operations.

With 27 new yard trailers, KICT is strengthening the engine of internal cargo movement — enhancing container flow, supporting vessel operations and improving turnaround and productivity.

Beyond the terminal gates, the KICT Train Project is connecting Karachi with Lahore via Jia Bagga Dry Port.

And security is going digital. The External Drivers Facial Recognition Verification System brings biometric registration, real-time gate verification, mobile onboarding and TOS integration together — with 23,000 drivers already registered.
