Cumulatively, remittances in Q1 FY27 rose 14 percent to US$ 10.9 billion, up from US$ 9.5 billion in the same period last year.

Saudi Arabia remained the leading source with US$ 899.1 million, followed by the UAE (US$ 748.5 million), the UK (US$ 515.1 million), and the USA (US$ 305.9 million).
