Bank Alfalah supports the Squash Development Project to help restore Pakistan’s sporting legacy

Bank Alfalah has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BARD Foundation to support the development of the BARD Squash Complex, which aims to revitalize squash in Pakistan and foster youth development. As part of this partnership, Bank Alfalah will provide PKR 50 million for the project, which will feature modern training facilities and community engagement initiatives.

Atif Bajwa, President and CEO of Bank Alfalah, highlighted the importance of private sector involvement in sports development. The complex aims to provide athletes with access to top-notch infrastructure and coaching, helping to restore Pakistan’s legacy in international squash.

The sponsorship will grant Bank Alfalah naming rights to the All-Glass Championship Court, as well as other branding opportunities. BARD Foundation President Abdul Razak Dawood emphasized the need for intersectoral collaboration to support athletes and strengthen sports in the country. The MoU is effective immediately, with both parties committed to advancing squash in Pakistan.
