Atif Farooqi, COO of the Pakistan Romania Business Council (PRBC), and Sohail Shamim Firpo, Chairman of PRBC, led a delegation at the Vision 2030 Pakistan Medical Devices Manufacturing Summit at Salim Habib University.

Organized by Dr. Shahid Noor of the Saman-e-Shifa Foundation, the summit focused on collaboration in biomedical engineering and innovation-driven manufacturing.

It included participation from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Farooqi and Firpo highlighted the opportunity for Pakistan to enhance its medical technology base through international partnerships and collaboration. They noted the importance of such forums in bridging academia and industry and expressed PRBC’s commitment to fostering long-term cooperation between Pakistan and Romania.
