A delegation from Shandong, China, visited the Karachi Port Trust to explore opportunities for maritime cooperation. The delegation was received by Rear Admiral Shahid Ahmed SI (M) S.Bt (Retd) and Rear Admiral Kashif Munir HI (M) during the occasion.

The delegation was briefed on Karachi Port’s operations, development projects, and the Manora Workshop expansion plan, including the graving dock, slipway, floating dock, and training facilities.

Chairman KPT highlighted the port’s strategic location and stated that the project, estimated at below USD 400 million, would benefit key maritime stakeholders.
