The 46th Mid-Career Management Course delegation of the National Institute of Public Administration visited Karachi Port Trust and was received by Rear Admiral Shahid Ahmed.

Chairman KPT briefed the delegation on Karachi Port’s history, operations, development projects, and growing role in transshipment cargo handling during the Strait of Hormuz crisis.

He also highlighted future initiatives, including the Elevated Expressway linking the port with Shahrah-e-Bhutto and ongoing coordination with Pakistan Railways on the ML-1 project to improve cargo connectivity and ease traffic congestion.
