Pakistan Single Window (PSW) and the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Karachi to enhance the digitalization of Pakistan’s trade ecosystem. This partnership aims to improve regulatory efficiency and provide integrated services for exporters and importers.
PSW will harmonise export facilitation processes and integrate platforms such as TDAP’s Pakistan Trade Portal into its system, providing traders with real-time access to trade information. TDAP will leverage its extensive network to engage stakeholders and promote digital trade tools at local events.
A key aspect of the MoU is its focus on gender-responsive trade facilitation, with the aim of supporting women-led enterprises, especially those from the Khadijah Women Entrepreneurship Program. Mr. Aftab Haider, CEO of PSW, remarked that this collaboration is crucial for creating an inclusive trade ecosystem and enhancing support for women entrepreneurs. The partnership will also involve joint capacity-building sessions to ensure quality guidance for the trade community.
