As consumers increasingly use AI agents for purchases, this network- and token-agnostic “on ramp” integrates via the Visa Acceptance Platform for secure payment initiation, tokenisation, and authentication.

Intelligent Commerce Connect allows payments with both Visa and non-Visa cards and offers key benefits such as compatibility with major network token providers, support for agent-initiated payments through various protocols (including Trusted Agent Protocol and Machine Payments Protocol), and discoverable merchant catalogues on AI platforms.
