Congratulations to the new President and VP elected for the Pakistan Nursing Council

Congratulations to the newly elected President of Pakistan Nursing Council, Aslam Khan, and Vice President Dr Syed Ali Farhan Razi, from the Private Nursing Institutes Association of Pakistan. The promotion of the nursing sector and the resolution of colleges’ issues will follow.

Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal has shown personal interest by forming a committee that will help reduce the shortage of nurses. In a joint statement, Muhammad Aslam Khan, Vice President of the Private Institutes Association, said that they appreciate the Federal Health Minister’s initiatives in the country’s health sector. Due to his personal efforts, further improvements are coming to the nursing sector. More steps should be taken to resolve the issues faced by private colleges so that the future of students in the nursing sector improves, and private colleges are allowed to offer evening shifts to address the shortage of nurses in the country.

We also extend our congratulations to the new members of the Pakistan Nursing Council and hope that they will play their role in resolving issues facing nursing colleges.
