Novo Nordisk Pakistan leads knowledge exchange delegation to Denmark

Novo Nordisk Pakistan has made a significant commitment to improving healthcare in the country by leading a delegation to Copenhagen, Denmark, which included representatives from government, healthcare associations, and policy-making forums. This Knowledge Exchange initiative reflects the company’s dedication to addressing serious chronic diseases like diabetes and obesity, which affect nearly 34.5 million and 38 million people in Pakistan, respectively.

The delegation gained insights into Denmark’s advanced healthcare ecosystem, exploring innovative approaches for early interventions and enhanced patient care. Rashid Rafique Butt, General Manager of Novo Nordisk Pakistan, emphasized the urgency of addressing these health challenges and the importance of empowering healthcare professionals to improve care standards.
