Jazz, Pakistan’s leading digital operator, is enhancing digital inclusion through its partnership with the Universal Service Fund (USF). Since 2007, Jazz has actively participated in the USF program, notably accelerating efforts since 2018 with initiatives aimed at sustainable development. To date, Jazz has completed 24 projects, providing 4G access to over 10.4 million people in more than 4,900 previously unconnected locations.
These projects improve connectivity along key national highways and boost tourism in destinations like Kumrat Valley and Lake Saiful Malook. In 2025, Jazz plans to launch five new USF projects, extending digital access to nearly 1 million people in 400 villages across various districts.
Syed Zaheer Mehdi, Group Chief Corporate and Regulatory Officer at Jazz, emphasizes that connectivity equals empowerment, as it opens up opportunities for education, healthcare, and commerce. Jazz remains committed to building a Digital Pakistan, ensuring no one is left behind in the nation’s digital future.
