Sami Wahid joins Coca-Cola Pakistan & Afghanistan Region as the new General Manager

Mr. Sami Wahid has assumed the role of General Manager for the Pakistan and Afghanistan Region of the Eurasia and Middle East Operations Unit of The Coca-Cola Company. With nearly two decades of expertise in marketing, sales, strategy, and general management, Mr. Wahid brings a comprehensive approach to strategic planning and leadership in commercial operations.

Before joining Coca-Cola, Mr. Wahid served as Managing Director at Mondelez Pakistan, where he drove sustainable growth and progress across various markets in the Middle East, North Africa, and Pakistan. He has a remarkable track record of driving transformational growth, creating an innovative culture, and achieving brand and business success.

Coca-Cola has invested over a billion dollars in Foreign Direct Investment in Pakistan in recent years,” said Mr. Sami Wahid. “With immense growth potential in this market, I’m excited to drive further expansion, along with Coca-Cola İçecek (CCI), our Turkey-based bottler. After 70+ years in Pakistan, Coca-Cola is deeply ingrained in the country’s fabric, from world iconic platforms like Coke Studio to community-focused sustainability initiatives.

Sami is a strong advocate for sectoral growth, representing the industry’s interests on key matters before regulatory authorities, and is particularly passionate about environmental, governance, and sustainability. Mr. Sami Wahid also serves as the Senior Vice President of the American Business Council. He believes in driving initiatives that create a meaningful impact for the broader community.
