inDrive, a global mobility platform, has become the top-ranked app in Pakistan’s Maps & Navigation category on Google Play Store and leads the Travel category on Apple’s App Store. Launched in 2021, inDrive operates in over 20 cities using a peer-to-peer pricing model that allows riders and drivers to negotiate fares directly, differentiating it from traditional surge-based platforms.
Country Manager Awais Saeed emphasized that the app’s growth is driven by local adoption and a focus on underserved areas, alongside investments in social impact programs. With rising demand for safety and rider autonomy in Pakistan’s urban centers, inDrive allows riders to propose fares based on distance or personal judgment.
The platform also offers services like courier and freight delivery. Globally, inDrive ranks as the second-most downloaded ride-hailing app for the third consecutive year and is fifth in the global travel app category.
