Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry has stated that the entire nation is proud of all the scientists, defence experts, engineers, technicians, and leaders who contributed to making Pakistan the first Islamic nuclear power. In his message on the occasion of Youm-e-Takbir, he said that we pay tribute to all those who played a role in making the country’s defense invincible.

He said that this year’s Youm-e-Takbir holds a special significance because, in the context of the battle for truth, we have been blessed with double happiness.

Junaid Anwar Chaudhry, while declaring May 28 as a historic day, said that on this day, we express gratitude to the Almighty and reiterate the pledge that a nation that trusts in Allah will never be disappointed with His mercy.

In his message, he said that despite being a nuclear power, Pakistan always prioritizes peace in the region, has maintained the balance of power, and its responsible role has been appreciated by the world.
He further said that the role of the Pakistan Army in defending the beloved homeland is highly commendable, as they defeated the enemy once again on May 10.
