The Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs, Mr Qaiser Shaikh, was the Chief Guest at the Padel Tournament prize distribution ceremony, which Padelverse, the family of Mr Arif Elahi, organised. Karachi’s only indoor, air-conditioned facility hosted a 100+-team tournament.

At the prize distribution facility, giving medals and trophies to the winners, He appreciated the state-of-the-art facility built by a young, enterprising entrepreneur, Safina Danish Elahi & Jaffar Hashim.

Moreover, the Minister took a round of all seven indoor air-conditioned courts, sat on the balcony, and saw the match being played.

The minister also played a pedal along with Mr Arif Elahi, ex-chairman of PNSC, and said this sport is coming up rapidly all over the world and in Pakistan, where such a facility will be the grounds for the next Olympic stars of Pakistan.
