Sui Northern Gas Pipelines will eventually get additional gas from Mari Gas. In this reference, Mari Gas informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange today that it has successfully concluded the appraisal program of the Ghazij gas discovery, during which four appraisal wells were drilled and tested to evaluate and determine the extent of the discovery.
All five wells (one exploratory and four appraisal wells) have been put on the Extended Well Testing program and are producing around 30 MMSCFD gas, which is being supplied to SNGPL.
Work on the Field Development Plan is currently in progress. It will eventually be submitted to the regulator for approval.

The postacid gas flow rate from the well was 5.0 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) with a wellhead flowing pressure (WHFP) of 363 pounds per square inch (psi) at 128/64-inch choke size.
Probably the gas pressure and quality makes it suitable for only fertilizer plants located in that area.
