Vietnam sees investment opportunities in Pakistan

The Ambassador of Vietnam Pham Hoang Kim met top officials of Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI) and agreed to take measures for the expansion of bilateral trade with Pakistan. On this occasion President of KATI Danish Khan, Senior Vice President Faraz-ur- Rehman, Vice President Maheen Salman, KATI’s standing committee on Diplomatic Affairs Masood Naqi, Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan, Gulzar Firoz have also spoken.

The FPCCI Vice President Tariq Haleem, Akber Farooqui, Ehteshamuddin, Tariq Malik, Ghazanfar Ali Khan, Nadeem Khan and others were also present.

Mr Kim said that there is a lot of sectors where both countries can explore mutual opportunities especially agriculture and industry. He agreed to take combine efforts to promote mutual opportunities.

President KATI Danish Khan the ambassador about scope of industry in Korangi Industrial Area. He said that many of industries were being relocated to Vietnam from Japan, China and other countries due to low cost and other factors. He said still there are some sectors are available in Pakistan where we can explore a lot of opportunity to relocation of industry and there is a wide scope of investment for investors of both countries. Head of KATI’s committee on Diplomatic affairs Masood Naqi also welcomed the delegation of Vietnam and urged to enhancement of bilateral trade relation of both countries. Commercial counselor Nguyen Hong Tien also accompanied the ambassador in this visit.
