Pakistan, one of urea producers – Agritech Ltd, has informed Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) today that it is closing its urea plant due to gas shortage at Distt. Mianwali.

The notification says that the company’s urea plant is being shut down from 30-11-2020 due to Gas Curtailment by Government of Pakistan. The government has shifting gas household’s consumers due to winter load management. The plant has a daily production of 810 mt of Ammonia and 1420 mt of Urea.

The company also manufactures SSP(Single Super Phosphate) at its plant at Haripur Hazara, the largest Single Super Phosphate(SSP) manufacturing plant in the country.
