UIT announces results of NAVTTC program

Usman Institute of Technology (UIT) affiliated with NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi. UIT recently announced the results of its National Vocational & Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) program which was conducted and organized at UIT.

It is worth mentioning that in the NAVTTC program the recent final exam result indicates that the Industrial Electrician group scored 3 A+’s students and out of the 22 students and no one scored below B grade. In the Web Development group 17 out of 24 students scored A+ and no one scored below B grade. One of the top scorers i.e. Mudassir Jamal S/O Jamal-uddin-Siddiqui (Electrician at UIT) scored 93 out of 100 in the trade of Industrial Electrician and he has been selected for Zonal Competition of Karachi division on 29th November, 2018 who will be representing UIT.

UIT stated at the results that: “UIT has graduated over 3500 students to date who are gainfully employed in the industry, businesses, software houses, government organizations and a variety of other enterprises. A number of them have started their own entrepreneurial ventures. Many have risen to top positions in their fields.” 

NAVTTC further pointed out: “NAVTTC is an apex body at national level to regulate, facilitate and provide policy direction in Vocational & Technical Training. The Commission is establishing and promoting linkages among various stakeholders existing at national as well as international level. Since its inception, NAVTTC has given a high priority to un-addressed areas and challenges being faced by TVET.”
