Trade Development Authority of Pakistan to participate at Emitex to be held from 21 – 23, April 2020, Costa Salguero Centre – Buenos Aires – Argentina.

The Emitex, Simatex and Confemaq rank among the biggest international events for the textile and garment industries in South America.

There were 212 exhibitors from 11 countries and 10,157 visitors participated in 2018 show.

Top visiting countries: Uruguay, Chile, Paraguay, Bolivia, Brazil, Perú, Colombia, EEUU and Venezuela.

Product Groups:

Fibers – Yarns, Woven and knitted fabrics, Trims and accessories, Technical textiles and non-wovens from clothing only, Machinery design and finishing of garments teed (print, flock, laser and others).

Why exhibit in Emitex?

Argentina offers a range of great possibilities and is a direct bridge to the MERCOSUR, a market with more than 250 million consumers.

Argentine exports are mainly towards Brazil and Uruguay, with fiber and yarn accounting for 57 percent, fabrics 22 percent and clothing 16 percent of all textile and garment exports.

The 50% of the apparel products that is used in Argentina are produced in the country. Several important brands were developed and export their products to Latin-American.

A large part of the country’s textile and garment exports goes to Brazil and Chile while China and Brazil are the biggest supplier nations.
