Shan Foods, Textile Institute of Pakistan join hands to promote skill-based education

Leading corporation in food industry, Shan Foods, has partnered with Textile Institute of Pakistan, a non-profit institution working to create skilled professionals in textile industry, to provide need-based scholarships for underprivileged students.

Through this initiative, Shan Foods will help deserving students who clear the admission process of TIP, but are unable to join due to non-affordability, to obtain quality education for demonstrating outstanding performance and development without any financial constraints. The Textile Institute of Pakistan (TIP) provides professional, industry-related education and training to young professionals by honing their practical skills in addition to providing the necessary conceptual knowledge. To-date, over 1100 students of TIP have graduated, and over 85% are serving in the textile and allied industry.

Working to fulfil the United Nations’ SDG for quality education, Shan Foods has taken several such initiatives to cont.ribute its share in educating and enabling the future generation with the power of knowledge and skills. The company hopes to further intensify their efforts in this domain.
