Shaheen Air International all set to bring back hajj pilgrims

Shaheen Air International (SAI) is all set to commence its post-Hajj operations, after successfully transporting the highest number of Hujjajthis year for the annual pilgrimage of Hajj. The flights to bring back pilgrims shall commence from Jeddah and Madinah on September 06, 2017. According to SAI’s spokesperson, the airline is geared to fly back 49,000 pilgrims from Jeddah and Madinahvia 69 flights to Karachi, 29 to Lahore, 30 to Islamabad, 30 to Peshawar, 30 to Faisalabad, 32 to Quetta and 2 to Multan throughout the course of the operation.

Speaking on this auspicious occasion, the company’s Chief Marketing Officer, Zohaib Hassan remarked: “We extend our heartiest felicitations towards all Muslims who have completed the Hajj this year. For Pakistani pilgrims, we are operating dedicated flights to bring them home from Saudi Arabia. It has been a great service and honour for us to fly pilgrims for the blessed endeavor of Hajj.”

Last year, Shaheen Air was awarded with a certificate of appreciation and award of excellence by the Directorate General of Hajj – Pakistan upon successful completion of its Hajj operations in the year 2015.
