To mark the occasion of 70th anniversary of Pakistan-Germany Diplomatic relations, the Government of Pakistan has decided to issue a commemorative coin of even denomination, i.e. Rs.70. This coin will be available on exchange counters of SBP Banking Services Corporation from October 15, 2021.

It may be recalled here that the diplomatic relationship between Pakistan and Germany were established on October 15, 1951.

The coin has a diameter of 30.00 mm and weigh 13 grams with milled serrations on the edge. The metal composition of the coin is Cupro-Nickel (Copper 75% & Nickel 25%).
