According to State Bank of Pakistan, the total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$18,828.7 million on 16February2018.The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under:-

Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan : US$ 12,703.7 million

Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks : US$ 6,125.0 million

Total liquid foreign reserves             : US$ 18,828.7 million

During the week ending 16February2018, SBP’s reserves decreased by US$130 million to US$12,704 million, due to external debt servicing and other official payments.
