Overseas Pakistanis remit US $5.4 billion in the first three months of FY19

Overseas Pakistani workers remitted US$ 5419.51 million in the first three months (July to September) of FY19, showing a growth of 13.14% compared with US$ 4790.01 million received during the same period in the preceding year. During September 2018, the inflow of workers’ remittances amounted to US$ 1452.43 million, which is 28.70% less than August 2018 and 12.25% higher than September 2017.

NHA strives to realize road building projects

Senate Standing Committee on Communications met today under chairmanship of Senator HidayatUllah. Federal Secretary Communications Mr. Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui, Chairman NHA Mr. Jawwad Rafique Malik and Senior officers from Ministry of Communications and National Highway Authority attended.

It was apprised to the committee that 509 officers in grade 17 to 22 are serving in NHA.
