Etihad Airways continues sustainability drive across its global airline fleet

Alitalia engineers graduate from Etihad Airways

Etihad Airways Engineering has commended four Alitalia graduate managers returning to Italy after successfully completing two years of intensive on-the-job training in Abu Dhabi. Fabio di Casola, Stefania Vullo,DavideBenatiand Bruno Bridarolliwere selected from more than 4,000 candidates for the highly coveted positions at Alitalia which involved being sent to the largest commercial aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services provider in the Middle East for the first two years of their employment.

Growth in advances to private sectors exceeds historical trend, says the SBP’s Fourth Quarterly Report for CY16

Continued hike in fuel prices hitting poor: Mian Zahid Hussain

President Pakistan Businessmen and Intellectuals Forum (PBIF), President AKIA, Senior Vice Chairman of the Businessmen Panel of FPCCI and former provincial minister Mian Zahid Hussain on Friday said continued rise in fuel prices is resulting in miseries to the masses. The price of petrol and diesel has been revised upward for the fourth time in a month and a half which is having an impact on everything which is transported from one place to another, he said.

APBF for reducing tax ratio to keep oil rates stable

The All Pakistan Business Forum (APBF) has criticized the government for increasing fuel prices and termed it bad news for the country’s economy, as two weeks after the rate hike, the government on March 1 increased fuel prices once again. Hence, this is fourth consecutive hike in petroleum prices leading to increasing cost of production ultimately.
