Bank Alfalah and Punjab Beverages Company collaborate to digitize supply chain payments

Pakistan’s top banking institution, Bank Alfalah Limited (BAL), has signed an agreement with Punjab Beverages Company (PBC) to initiate a pilot to digitize the last mile retailer in the PBC supply chain. The main objective of the project is to digitize incentive payouts and expense reimbursements made by PBC to its distributors and retailers.

NBP Union pay Corpay launched

In continuation of National Bank of Pakistan’s (NBP) journey for embracing the future banking, NBP unveiled NBP Prepaid cards with the brand of UnionPay International in a grand launch ceremony. Initially, three types of Cards have been launched including Corpay – for small ticket size payroll; YouthPay – for younger generations of Pakistan; and PocketPay – for daily consumption for families.

PSO launches its “Refuel” vending machines at PSO retail outlets

The country’s largest oil marketing company Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has recently contracted to place vending machines at its retail outlet with the brand name “Refuel”. The state of the art vending machines have been currently installed at  PSO stations in Karachi; Ideal Service Station (Shahrah-e-Faisal), AB Ghazi Service Station, near Abdullah Shah Ghazi.

Hamdard Foundation philanthropy work

FPCCI lauds the efforts of Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif to boost exports

The United Business Group (UBG) of FPCCI on Thursday lauded the efforts of Prime Minister, Muhammed Nawaz Sharif to boost exports through incentives and improved supply of energy.Energy projects of CPEC would add around ten thousand and five hundred megawatt of electricity in the national grid within two years while other initiatives would also add thousands of megawatt of power providing relief to masses, industry and agriculture, said a press release here on Thursday.
