KATI urges due share of industrial areas in development fund allocations

President of Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI) Masood Naqi has demanded to Sindh Government to include industrial infrastructure projects in development plans. According to a statement released by KATI, Masood Naqi said that industrial areas of Karachi are facing severe infrastructural problems and lacking basic facilities, CM Murad Ali Shah assured solutions for these problems, several times.

Pakistani Millennials believe Artificial Intelligence can achieve peace, reveals Telenor Group Survey

Telenor Group today released the findings of its regional online survey that assessed the attitudes of Asia’s millennials towards technology and social impact, as well as the support they feel necessary to become future leaders committed to peace. Organized to support Telenor Youth Forum 2017 recruitment, the online survey engaged 2,500 respondents aged 15 to 30 years in Asian markets including Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Malaysia, and Thailand.

Cement exports declined by 45 percent in May 2017

Uptake of cement in the domestic market accelerated to 10.90 percent in May 2017 while exports continue to mar the performance of the cement sector registering a decline of 44.58 percent in May 2017, the fourth massive decline in exports which declined by 45.69 percent in February, 60.39 percent in March and 50.75 percent in April.
