State Minister for Communications Mr. Murad Saeed has said that as per vision of the present government, all possible communications facilities will be provided to the people of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). He was talking to Mr. Shahram Khan Tarkai Provincial Minister for Local Government & Rural Development of the KP who met him at Ministry of Communication here today. During the meeting matters relating to provision of public facilities at M-1 were discussed in detail. Mr. Shoaib Ahmad Siddiqui Secretary Communications and Senior Officers from MOC & NHA were also present.

Mr. Murad Saeed assured the visiting Provincial Minister that all the travelling facilities which have been ignored in the past will be provided to the people of the KP. He said, the present government will extend all cooperation for provision of Interchange at Adeena Lahore road, service area and rehabilitation of service road along Peshawar-Islamabad Motorway there.

On this occasion Mr. Shahram Khan Tarkai stressed upon the need of building an interchange at Peshawar-Islamabad Motorway (M-1). He said, construction of interchange at Adeena Lahore road in Swabi District, is a long standing demand of the people and need of the time. Construction of interchange will provide better transport facility to the people besides reducing fuel charges and travelling time. He further said, a service area at Motorway in Swabi area needs to be constructed. He proposed to re-construct/rehabilitate the service road from Swabi interchange to Lahore Adeena Road on both sides of the Islamabad Peshawar Motorway.
