SSGC Signs MoUs with TCF and WWF pledging Support for Community
Under its CSR initiatives, Sui Southern Gas Company Limited signed MoUs with Pakistan’s two reputable non-profit organizations, pledging its support to ‘The Citizens Foundation’ (TCF) and ‘World Wide Fund’ for Nature (WWF-P). In light of these MoUs, SSGC will provide financial support to TCF, Pakistan’s leading organization, committed towards promotion of education in marginalized / underprivileged class of the society.

Attock Cement inks agreement with K-Electric
K-Electric said that it has signed an accord with Attock Cement Limited for providing additional 16 MW electricity to the cement manufacturer. A useful and economical methodology was constructed via a one-window operation for serving the additional 16MW to Attock Cement Scheme.
NHA expedites work on the western route of CPEC
National Highway Authority (NHA) is taking all possible measures to ensure the timely completion of the western route of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). This was stated by the Chairman NHA, Shahid Ashraf Tarar while presiding over the Executive Board Meeting held in Islamabad today.

Hamdard University assistant Professor gets the Best University Teacher Award
11th BEST UNIVERSITY TEACHER AWARD, 2014 Ceremony was organized by Higher Education Commission (HEC) in Islamabad. In his address, Prof. Dr. Raza Bhatti, Director General Academics HEC briefed that after short listing from 96 applications, only 35 Government and 5 Private Sector Universities across Pakistan were found eligible to receive this award.

7th Karachi Literature Festival starts
The seventh Karachi Literature Festival (KLF) will be held on 5, 6, and 7 February 2016 at the Beach Luxury Hotel, Karachi. KLF brings together and celebrates Pakistani and international authors writing in diverse languages. The festival will feature talks, panel discussions, readings, book launches, English and Urdu mushaira, stand-up comedy, author signings, performing arts, art exhibition, film screenings, separate art strand, music, dance, book fair, literary awards, food court, and much more.
