Lucky Motor launches the first European model PEUGEOT in Pakistan

Today, Lucky Motors Corporation Limited has launched a Peugeot brand SUV car in Pakistan. The colourful event was held at Bin Qasim Industrial Park (SEZ), Pakistan Steel Mills, Bin Qasim Town, Karachi. The Peugeot is an internationally acclaimed automobile brand with a ravishing legacy of 211 years. The new Peugeot 2008 SUV is being assembled for the first time in Pakistan with European manufacturers.

At the launching ceremony, Mr Samir Cherfan, Chief Operating Officer Middle East & Africa Region at Stellantis, Ms Linda Jackson (Chief Executive officer (CEO) of Peugeot, delivered their recorded messages, and Mr Asif Rizvi Director & Chief Executive Officer, Lucky Motors, Mubashir Ahmed – Head of Marketing & Sales – Peugeot and other addressed the gathering and later a model of car was unveiled to audience.

Mr Asif Rizvi and Mubashir Ahmed presented the salient feature of car model having engine type of 1.2 L turbo having all latest gadgets with a price tag of over PKR 5 million and available through 6 Dealerships Peugeot across Pakistan and others.

With the introduction of Peugeot, the company now aims at providing the best mobility solutions the European Brand can offer to its customers. European automotive manufacturer, PEUGEOT, has officially launched operations in Pakistan for the first time in its distinguished history with its exclusive partner Lucky Motor Corporation. The partnership commenced with the opening of eight 3S dealerships in six cities and a state-of-the-art facility for the assembly of cars in Pakistan.

The first step of this ongoing commitment to the Pakistani customer will introduce the PEUGEOT 2008. The e-2008 will be the next model launched, giving customers the freedom to choose between a 100% electric and a thermic version, thanks to the Multi Energy platform CMP. Together, with support from PEUGEOT, Lucky Motors Corporation will assemble various models locally at state-of-the-art facilities and is currently exploring opportunities to distribute multiple models by early next year.
