As part of K-Electric’s US$ 450 million transmission enhancement plan (TP-1000) to add 1000 MVA to its network, development work was carried out on Old Town grid and associated transmission lines.

A planned power shutdown was taken to carry out the development work on Old Town grid from 7am to 7pm today and customers associated with the grid were informed prior to the shutdown via multiple communication platforms.
