Patron-in-Chief of Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI) SM Muneer, President Danish Khan, Vice President Faraz-ur-Rehman and Vice President Maheen Salman welcomed the decision of extending tenure of Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa by Prime Minister Imran Khan and extended warmest congratulations to COAS, in a statement released by KATI.

SM Muneer said that in the current situation of the region the decision was need of time and duly considered by the PM Khan. He said that Gen. Bajawa has played a vital role to prosper our national defense and capabilities and stringing internal stability of the country. He said that this decision demonstrate the wishes and hopes of common people of the country. Muneer said that Gen Bajwa responded the Indian escalation in February and taught a bitter lesson to our enemies. He said that while Indian leadership sending Pakistan aggressive messages this time to continue a time tested leadership of our Army.

President Danish Khan said that Gen Bajwa not just ensure the strong defense of country but also played a key role to stabiles economic condition by responding internal threats . He said that PM Khan’s decision of giving extension in tenure to COAS truly represents the hopes and sentiment of people and Business Community in specific. “I believe this decision will send a strong message to our enemies and will bring prosperity and stability to the nation,” he added.
