KATI welcome the Karachi Police Chief statement to reform policing

Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI) has welcomed the statement by Additional IG Sindh Dr. Amir Shaikh to bring reforms in Karachi Police. President KATI Tariq Malik, Senior Vice President Salman Aslam and Vice President Junaid Naqi showed hope for the effective measures in this regard, according to a statement released by KATI.

President KATI Tariq Malik said Karachi Police has played a vital role to reinstate law & order in Karachi. He said that ensuring peace and prosperity was the first most prerequisite to bring investment in the country, which is facing economic crunch. He said that Karachi is a financial capital of Pakistan, during previous years Pakistan rangers, Police and other LEAs done a tremendous job to bring peace in the city. He said that Adl. IG Mr. Shaikh is one of the most dutiful and vigilant officer of police services “we hope he will follow his own suite of performance and would bring reforms in policing system of the metropolis” he added. Tariq Malik further said that in Korangi industrial Area, with the efforts of former president of KATI and CPLC Chief (Malir&Korangi) Zubair Chhaya and Head of KATI’s Standing Committee on law &order Nadeem Khan, a model community service have been devolved, he urged the city police chief to consider expansion of the model to improve security especially in Industrial Areas and City in general.
