KATI urges Islamic Banks to priorities Industry

President of Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI) Tariq Malik has urged Islamic Banking sector to priorities industry and SME, while addressing a high level delegation of Dubai Islamic Bank, led by Junaid Ahmed, CEO of the Bank. He said that steady growth of Islamic Banking is highly appreciable. It is need of the time that Islamic banks should come forward to provide easy lending facilities and other tailor made banking products for ailing Industry, SMEs and Trade sector.

Vice President of KATI Junaid Naqi, Chairman & CEO of KITE DMC Zubair Chhaya, former Presidents of KATI Rashid Siddiqui, Farukh Mazher, Johar Ali Qandhari, Farhan-ur-Rehman and other also expressed their views.

On this occasion CEO of Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan Junaid Ahmed said that his bank already focused on Industry and business sectors, and gradually updating its lending and other products. He said that Islamic banking is not just about to provide financial and other services, it is serving of a cause of Sharia compliant financial solutions and banking services. Junaid Ahmed also applauded Patron in chief of KATI, SM Muneer, on his services for business community. Later on head of Shria board DIB Pakistan, Mufti Muhammad Hassan Kaleem answered several quarries of participants related to Islamic Banking and its products.
