KATI appreciated Mayor and Deputy Mayor for road reconstruction and maintenance work in KIA

Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI) appreciated Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhter and Deputy Mayor Arshad Vohra for maintenance and reconstruction work of 8000 road in Korangi Industrial Area. In a statement released by KATI, Patron in Chief SM Muneer, President Tariq Malik, CEO KITE DMC Zubair Chhaya, Senior Vice President Salman Aslam and Vice President KATI Junaid Naqi applauded the measure taken by Mayor and Deputy Mayor to resolve this long awaited reconstruction of the roads.

SM Muneer said that for Brooks to Murtaza Chowrangi road were depleted and causing great problems for the movement of industrial goods and daily commuting in the area. He appreciated the efforts of Mayor and deputy mayor for their action to resolve this problem.

President KATI Tariq Malik said that along with 8000 road many other connecting roads were also in very much bad shape. He mentioned that Chamra Chowrangi were in very bad conditions since long, due to this situation traffic jams and street crimes become a routine in the vicinity. Malik said while we appreciate carpeting and reconstruction work on 8000 road we also expect that work on the mentioned sites would be started immediately. He said that industry is facing great challenges, including flawed infrastructure, in these conditions every work for the betterment of infrastructure will termed as national service. He urged local and provincial government for speedy work on infrastructure related projects in Karachi.
