Mr. Gulzar Firoz, Convener, Standing Committee on Environment, FPCCI in a press statement welcomed the decision of the Sindh Govt. to completely ban polythene bags. This step will save many environmental issues including choking of nallas and sewerage by polythene bags.

Mr. Gulzar Firoz said that he hoped the Government will implement this decision strictly in true spirit and appealed to the manufacturers of polythene bags to kindly obey the laws and cooperate with Sindh Government.
