President FPCCI Ghazanfar Bilour has hailed statement of Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Revenue Haroon Akhtar Khan that government shall extend full support for the timely completion of the Thar Coal Projects. This will certainly add to the existing shortfall of energy requirements. Mr. Bilour further added that businesses have been shut down due to high tariff of Gas and Power and completion of the coal Projects shall certainly provide relief to our entrepreneurs to boost production.

No effort was made in the past towards coal power projects to overcome shortage of energy requirement and present government’s intersts in early completion of Thar Coal project is most commendable. This will also help us in saving foreign exchange at present being spent on the import of fuel prices of which are gradually going up. FPCCI assures government to lend full support in implementation of all those projects that could boost of our economy.
