FPCCI applauds the decision by Sc on High Rise Buildings

Mr. Ghazanfar Bilour, President FPCCI, Syed Mazhar Ali Nasir, Senior Vice President FPCCI, S.M. Muneer, Former President FPCCI & Former CEO TDAP, Mr. Zubair F. Tufail, Former President FPCCI and Mr. Khalid Tawab, Former Senior Vice President FPCCI have applauded the decision taken by the Supreme Court of Pakistan by lifting the 18 month old ban on construction of high rise buildings above 6 floors. They have also congratulated The Association of Builders and Developers of Pakistan (ABAD).

In a statement, FPCCI added, “That lifting of ban will help the construction and housing industry to bring revenue and would re-create phenomenal opportunities for the people who were affected by the ban in many ways. This act would enhance the employment opportunities in the market for the people who are related to construction and allied industries. The shortfall of housing facility would also be catered at a better level. This verdict would help the national economy to boost. The construction and housing industry would also play a key role in The Honorable Prime Minister’s initiative of constructing five million houses program in Pakistan.”
