Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has appointed Abdulmohsen Al Sayegh senior members of its finance team as Air Seychelles’ Chief Financial Officer. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Financial Services from the UAE’s Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) and has extensive experience working for Etihad Airways in the UAE and across the world.
The 34-year-old Emirati joined Etihad Airways as Senior Financial Controller in 2008 and moved to the Sydney office three years later, following a promotion to Senior Finance Manager, Australia. In the same year, he was named Best Emirati Finance Employee at Etihad Airways’ annual employee awards in recognition of his significant contribution.
In 2013, Mr Al Sayegh was stationed in the airline’s regional office in Berlin as Area Finance Manager, overseeing its operations in Ireland, Belgium, Turkey and Cyprus, together with the financial accounts of the UAE embassies in Europe on behalf of Etihad Airways.
He replaces the current Air Seychelles Chief Financial Officer, Tara Murphy, who returns to a senior role at Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi.
