Standard Chartered today organized the final of the Standard Chartered Trophy … Road to Anfield Tournament. Finalist teams of seven players each from two major cities i.e. Karachi and Lahore competed to represent Pakistan at the final of the Standard Chartered Trophy … Road to Anfield Tournament.
This final will take place in May 2019 at the home ground of the Liverpool Football Club in the UK, Anfield.DHL won the final match against Engro team with a score of 6-0. The final of the tournament was held in Karachi.
Twenty-three client teams from Karachi and Lahore participated in the qualifying round. These teams comprised of companies like Unilever, Reckitt Benckiser, Engro Corporation, K-electric, Coke, Total, etc.

The “Standard Chartered Trophy… Road to Anfield” is an international five-aside football tournament that provides Standard Chartered markets a platform to actively engage football fans.
It is hinged on the Bank’s Liverpool FC sponsorship and is an opportunity for Standard Chartered to further reinforce their partnership with Liverpool FC.
The Pakistan team will be playing against teams from Hong Kong, Korea, India, Bangladesh, Ghana, Kenya and the UK. These teams are from across the Bank’s footprint in Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
All the winning teams, in addition to participating in the final round for the SC Trophy cup, will attend an English Premier League match at Anfield and will also receive a professional training session from Liverpool Football Club legends and coaches to help them prepare for the final tournament. The Standard Chartered Trophy ceremony will be held at the Anfield after the final match.
