In an effort to encourage Pakistani sports, Telenor Pakistan is bringing Super Kabaddi League (SKL), Pakistan’s first-ever international sports league to be played entirely on the Pakistani soil. A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Telenor Pakistan as the main partner and Strawberry Sports Management, the league owner, in this regard.
American Ambassador David Hale hosted Federal Minister for Energy (Power Division) Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari for a briefing and tour of the American Embassy’s energy sustainability initiatives. A group of 20 students from the London Business School visited Pakistan Microfinance Investment Company (PMIC) office in Islamabad on April 5, 2018. The group is currently visiting Pakistan on a trek, the fourth of a series of treks to Pakistan by students of three of the world’s top universities.
The National Day of Pakistan was celebrated in Ankara at an impressive ceremony at Pakistan Embassy in Ankara today. The Ambassador of Pakistan to Turkey, Mr. Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi, raised the Pakistan flag to the tune of the National Anthem in presence of the Pakistani community, Pakistani students studying in Turkish Universities and Embassy officials and their families.
The National Day, 23rd March 2018, was celebrated in Singapore with traditional fervor and national spirit. The day began with the hoisting of the flag by the High Commissioner, Nasrullah Khan. The officers and officials of the High Commission, as well as a cross section of Pakistani community/diaspora attended the ceremony.
