11th BEST UNIVERSITY TEACHER AWARD, 2014 Ceremony was organized by Higher Education Commission (HEC) in Islamabad. In his address, Prof. Dr. Raza Bhatti, Director General Academics HEC briefed that after short listing from 96 applications, only 35 Government and 5 Private Sector Universities across Pakistan were found eligible to receive this award.

The seventh Karachi Literature Festival (KLF) will be held on 5, 6, and 7 February 2016 at the Beach Luxury Hotel, Karachi. KLF brings together and celebrates Pakistani and international authors writing in diverse languages. The festival will feature talks, panel discussions, readings, book launches, English and Urdu mushaira, stand-up comedy, author signings, performing arts, art exhibition, film screenings, separate art strand, music, dance, book fair, literary awards, food court, and much more.

The last day of the year 2015 at Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) marked the launch of ‘Hum Qadam’ volunteering program as part of the Company’s initiative in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility. SSGC is perhaps the first organization in the corporate sector to launch such a program that primarily encourages its employees to volunteer in diverse community-driven initiatives.

Country’s smaller provinces get the major share in the road infrastructure development schemes undertaken by the National Highway Authority (NHA) with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) leading with eleven (11) projects followed by Balochistan and Sindh with ten (10) and nine (9) projects respectively.
The historical Eduljee Dinshaw Road, adjacent to the Karachi Port Trust building, was inaugurated by Sindh Governor Dr Isharatul Ebad Khan in an elaborate ceremony attended by diplomats, senior government functionaries and politicians, on Sunday.
Appreciating the generous contributions of donors which led to the completion of the first phase of the project, he assured of putting in all efforts for the timely completion of the project’s second phase.
