SECMC Promises to Plant 100,000 Trees

To mark the celebrations and importance of Earth Day, Sindh Engro Coal Mining Company (SECMC) has pledged to plant more than 100,000 trees. Brig (retd) Tarique Quadir Lakhiar, General Manager, Administration and CSR of SECMC said “Besides actively engaged in the extraction of coal, Sindh Engro Coal Mining Company (SECMC) has started afforestation in Thar coal’s block-II and for the purpose, 100,000 tree saplings will be planted using saline water”.

DP World reports 5.7% gross volume growth 1Q 2017
