Applications open for KP government innovation fellowship program 2021

Applications are now open for the 7th cycle of the KP Government Innovation Fellowship Program, a prestigious six-month program supported by the KP IT Board, Code for Pakistan and The World Bank.

During the KP Government Innovation Fellowship Program, 20 Fellows are selected, and the cohort includes talented technologists, developers and designers who collaborate with provincial government departments to build tech solutions, inspire citizen engagement, improve government processes, and show how to innovate in public services. These digital solutions can help solve problems in a variety of public domains, such as economic development, healthcare, open data, citizen engagement, transportation, education, etc. The annual program was launched in 2014, and so far, 107 Fellows have graduated from the program and over 26 government departments have been facilitated.

In addition to a monthly stipend of Rs. 30,000/-, the Fellows also receive professional mentorship, free workspace at Durshal Peshawar, leadership development training and above all a chance to work with the Government to bring about a change in public service delivery and the digital landscape of KP.

Candidates having a minimum 16 years of education with at least one year of post-graduation work experience are encouraged to apply. The categories include front-end development, back-end development, full stack development with MEAN or MERN stack experience, mobile application development, desktop application development, graphic designing, content writing, data sciences, software quality assurance, networking and security.
