Syed Mazhar Ali Nasir, Sr. Vice President & Chairman Budget Advisory Council of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) has extended his heartiest congratulations to Imran Khan on the glorious victory of his party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the General Election 2018 process, securing highest number of seats in National Assembly and landslide triumph on seats in KPK Assembly besides, setting its sights on ruling Punjab and Baluchistan, thus paving the way to form a new Government under his dynamic leadership / Prime Ministership for the 1st term in the history of Pakistan.
The SVP of FPCCI elaborated that his success, indeed is reflective of the immense confidence that he enjoys among the masses and an indication of appreciation of his meritorious, dedicated and devoted services which he has been rendering in various capacities and fields – politics, parliament, education, health, sports, philanthropist etc. – for the country and as such is fully aware of the problems and issues being confronted by the masses and business community.
Syed Mazhar Ali Nasir, SVP of FPCCI appreciated, “If one single factor that has earned his party a landslide victory in election is people’s recognition of his untiring struggle, relentless efforts and un-shattered resolve to weed out the rampant corruption and winning power as an anti-corruption crusader”. He recalled that his political journey which began in 90s is an incredible lesson in tenacity, belief and refusal to accept defeat, he added”.
The FPCCI SVP hailing first victory speech of Imran Khan delivered by him as the Prime Minister-in-waiting termed it as mature, balanced and encouraging. He hoped that Imran Khan as Prime Minister would steer the country out of the multi-faceted instant challenges being confronted by it such as balance of payment; fiscal and debt sustainability, better management of public sector entities; reforms of transparency; eliminate the menace of corruption; ease of doing business; arrest of rupee slide; reform tax administration; fix energy challenges; revive manufacturing sector; enhance access to finance etc.
The FPCCI SVP on behalf of the FPCCI, which is an apex trade body of Pakistan assured Imran Khan of his best cooperation and assistance in initiating business friendly economic and commercial polices as these policies have a direct bearing on trade and industry. He wished Imran Khan every success in fulfilling his new responsibilities and dream of making new Pakistan a reality.
